Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences
Your PFC account is created because you have opened an account, received goods or services, or received financial benefit from a company that has sold your past-due account to PFC. As a result, you are not able to simply delete your account with us. In some cases, we may reduce or remove balances on accounts based on your personal situation.
You may request deletion of your PFC on-line access account only, by sending an email to account.remove@peoplefirstcredit.com.
Payment Processing and Data Storage
The processes that we use to capture and manage cardholder data are based on PCI DSS compliance standards. Additionally, PFC uses a third-party payment processor for the secured processing of payment transactions; while we are responsible for the safe transport of cardholder data to the payment processor, no confidential full track cardholder information relative to payment transactions is stored by PFC. Our payment processor has permission to store, on behalf of PFC, all cardholder data pertaining to executed payment transactions with the goal of ensuring a secure method of payment and proof of purchase archive, allowing for the protection of our members, and for follow-up as needed. Our payment processor vendors fully adhere to PCI standards regarding secure storage of data, strong access control and other requirements. Additional information regarding PCI compliance is available online at https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/.
